Buying a home in Dubai, step by step

If you want to buy to live in or to own a finished property, we go with you from start to finish. From defining what you want to getting the keys and the registration in your name.

First, what you are looking for

Type of property, area, budget, timeline and whether you plan to live in it or rent it. We filter with that. We do not show you forty options: we show you the ones that make sense for you.

Viewings and comparison

We arrange the viewings, remotely too if you are not in Dubai. We compare using real transaction price data from the area so you know whether the asking price is reasonable.

Negotiation and offer

We present the offer and negotiate price and terms on your behalf. Before signing, we review in detail what has been agreed.

The paperwork

  • Buyer documents and identification.
  • Sale and purchase agreement and deposit.
  • Title transfer and payment of the DLD fee (4% of the price).
  • If there is a mortgage, coordination with the bank or mortgage adviser.

After the purchase

We guide you with utilities and the service charge. If you want to rent it out, we can help with that too.

Frequently asked questions

Can a foreigner buy in Dubai?

Yes, in freehold areas. You do not need to be a resident. We help you identify the areas and the documents.

How much does buying cost on top of the price?

Mainly the DLD registration fee (4% of the price), plus administrative fees and, if there is a mortgage, bank costs. If there is an agency commission, it is agreed in writing beforehand.

How long does the process take?

It depends on the property, whether there is a mortgage and whether your documents are ready. We give you a realistic timeline before we start.

Can I buy without traveling to Dubai?

In many cases yes, with video viewings and remote signing. We explain what can be done without being present.
